Comments on: Paypal Pro for JROX JEM Ecommerce Shopping Cart

Question…is this module considered PCI compliant? I have been reading Paypal’s site and I’m curious if the customers credit card information is stored in Paypal or if the module stores it somewhere in JEM?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, Website Payments Pro. JROX JEM does not have Website Payments Pro for Paypal module for integration. Hence we developed the module and it makes it easy to integrate into your website. If you prefer, we offer installation for a token additional fee of $20. Just select with installation when purchasing the module.

Hi!

When you say Paypal Pro do you mean Website Payments Pro or something else? I recently had JEM installed in my hosting account and still need to create my shopping cart (www.sherrymills.com/shop). I have Website Payments Pro, and could use support in integrating it into my cart, but if PayPal Pro were more cost effective than the solution I have, I’d be interested in knowing about it.

I have reviewed your web site. As stated, you have already installed Paypal Pro, I assume by your webmaster and would not require the module. This module is for those that do not have Paypal Pro installed on JROX Jem to save time and money asking a webmaster to configure it.

we currently have paypal pro on our shopping cart. we use jrox for our affiliate links and tracking. we are not a network marketing company and have very few sales per month, and rare to have repeat customers. primarily 4-5 affiliates sell our products currently. are you saying that our affiliate’s customers are redirected to paypal rather than our integrated shopping cart and this product would assist us? how?

Correct, for the security of your valued clientele, a SSL Certificate and Dedicated IP should be arranged with your web host prior to integrating Paypal Pro.

We are already using JEM and have paypal pro, my concern is this.
Do when then need to have a secure server because we are taking credit card details on the page and not on paypal’s secure site.
