There’s so much news about rss feeds, blogging and there are those who believe that e-mail is just a means to communicate but not really a cost-effective marketing tool and that with the release of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 that emails have regressed 7 years as they “strip out” images and can end up putting your email in a junk email filter. I disagree.

After the caution notice when we web developers rushed out and installed beta versions of IE 7 web browser with major consequences to be paid, everyone hesitated about touching anything that said Microsoft and 2007 in the same breath! Well I have been using Microsoft 2007 for around 2 years now and I love it!

In particular, with the huge and apparently ever increasing market of e-mail marketing companies like Constant Contact and Vertical Response, people want HTML in email, period! Nothing sells better than a visual email and done right, it can lead to many online sales. But we are taking it to the next level, we’re creating a standard range of HTML templates that we use daily when writing to clients, not just for a regular e-mail blast but for use in every email. See below for a sample of an email template. It’s easy to edit the template(s) and update images, graphics and latest offerings so your clients will see it each time you write to them and this provides an increased opportunity for more sales.
